Lizzie McCauley has been many things to many people. She has had a plethora of different jobs, including creating children’s collectibles, writing and editing for magazines, as well as marketing and UX for universities. She has always been a chronic overthinker, obsessing over tiny details in every interaction, and musing on pretty much everything she’s ever said or done. Most recently she has become a mother to an exuberant little boy, and she had to deal with severe postnatal depression and anxiety during a global pandemic.

Through it all, Lizzie has always been a writer. Now, after decades of working on projects that have helped her hone her skills and master her craft, she’s written her debut novel. Focusing on motherhood and mental health, Lizzie’s first book is honest, painful and raw, but she hopes that it will help other mums feel a little less alone, a little more understood and a little more hopeful.
